Meet Steph
Nice to meet you, I’m Steph.
Owner and Shoemaker at Sweetmore & Firth. I specialise in manufacturing bespoke orthopaedic footwear. I design and create made-to-measure shoes for individuals with foot impairments, deformities, and disabilities, as well as for anyone who struggles to find properly fitting footwear. In addition, I provide custom orthotic services. I create personalised orthotics, which I then machine-fit into your own shoes. I can’t wait to work with you to make your footwear desires come true.

Steph has recently made insoles for me and my husband because we both had foot pain when walking any distance, and off-the-shelf arch supports that we wore were no longer helping.
However, with Steph's insoles the pain had gone! I decided to take my mum over to see her as she struggles to walk nowadays because of a painful fused foot. Based in New Mills, Serving Clients Across the UK. Our workshop is located in New Mills, on the edge of the Peak District. While many of our clients come from nearby areas such as Stockport, Manchester and across Derbyshire, we also regularly work with people travelling from across the UK for our bespoke orthopaedic footwear and custom orthotics.
