I broke my ankle really badly back in the 1980s and, as a consequence of the injury, I subsequently developed 'secondary osteoarthritis' [this is different to the progressively deteriorating disease] and it significantly limited my mobility.
That was 40 years ago. After living with the condition as best I could, it became too much and I was referred to Steph to see if she might help with some new orthotics for my footwear.

Suffice to say that the new orthotics she made for me reduced my pain and discomfort 80/90% - Really!

Whilst I do still need support on longer days out, I can now walk around my home and town without a walking stick and awake the next day, with no pain or swelling.

Steph has recently made insoles for me and my husband because we both had foot pain when walking any distance, and off-the-shelf arch supports that we wore were no longer helping.
However, with Steph's insoles the pain had gone! I decided to take my mum over to see her as she struggles to walk nowadays because of a painful fused foot. She's had NHS insoles but the ones Steph made for her are immeasurably better and now she can walk further. So that's three very happy customers.
Furthermore, Steph couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Any tweaks or alteration needed will all be done free of charge. We're incredibly lucky to have her on our doorstep but many people come many miles to see her, and I can understand why.

After several years of visits to podiatrists, chiropodists, physiotherapists and chiropractors about my chronic right foot and hip pain, I found Steph, who was able to tell me that, as well as my pronation, I had a slightly shorter right leg and hence a titled pelvis. She has been able to make great insoles for me. I’ve only been using them a week, but, already, the pain in my foot has gone and the hip pain is reducing.
